- What is PTI Mobile WAVE?
PTI Mobile WAVE was designed to show Internet-content on mobile/cell phones using WAP protocol. PTI customers will benefit from easy access to relevant Internet information and services such as email messaging, news, weather, stocks, etc, through their mobile devices from anywhere in the CNMI.
- What is the cost of PTI Mobile WAVE?
Access to PTI Mobile WAVE is FREE and the only cost is the airtime used while on the PTI Mobile WAVE site. There are no additional fees associated with PTI Mobile WAVE.
**The Everything is Just Airtime data takes away the extra charges of using PTI's data network. Picture sending, PTI Mobile WAVE and web browsing are now just part of a customer's postpaid planned minutes and there are no extra charges for usage. For example, in the past, Picture Sending was $0.25 per picture plus airtime. Now, the only cost is airtime. There are no extra or hidden fees for data usage.
- I think I will use more than planned minutes, is there an unlimited data usage plan?
Yes, the price depends in the type of phone you have. Handsets that are data capable (LG-6100, LG-8300, Motorola Razr, Chocolate, etc) can sign up for an unlimited data plan at $9.95 per month with a SPECIAL 1st 3 months at $5.95. Smartphone/PDA handset users (Treo, UT Starcom, etc.) can sign up for unlimited data for $19.95 with a SPECIAL 1st 3 months at $14.95.
- What are some of PTI Mobile WAVE's features?
PTI Mobile WAVE has easy to navigate links that make it fast and easy to browse local and international news, sports, weather, stock quotes, check email and surf the Internet. An exciting feature allows users to look up numbers in CNMI Phone Book and automatically call with the push of one button.
- How can I tell if my phone is PTI Mobile WAVE capable?
Stop by PTI Customer Service and your phone will be checked and activated for Data/PTI Mobile WAVE. When you activate your handset for Data/PTI Mobile WAVE you will receive 100 FREE minutes.

No, not at this time. This feature is only available for PTI postpaid subscribers.
- Is PTI Mobile WAVE Data available on Sharing Plans?
Yes, it is.
- I have Unlimited Nights and Weekends, how does this work with my plan.
Voice and data minutes are now considered the same for billing, but Unlimited Night and Weekends are for voice calls only. In order to use PTI Mobile WAVE with this type of plan, subscribers must sign-up for Unlimited Data.
