- How is my Data time billed?
Any time you use data service you will incur regular airtime minutes. So, if youre browsing on the web for 10 minutes, it would be like you made a 10-minute phone call.
- How much does it cost me to send a picture to another phone?
25¢ per photo send plus the airtime it takes to send the photo (i.e. the sender and receiver of the picture will both be charged the airtime). This is for all Postpaid customers using our current camera phones (LG-6000 and LG-5450).
- How will the Data and Pic-Send records appear on my billing?
Your bill will show a section for voice minutes and a section for data minutes. Your Data minutes will be shown just like DATA. Your picture-send-picture minutes will be shown as MMSC or Multi Media Service Center. Both categories will indicate minutes and dollar figures for customers' review.
- Do you offer an Unlimited Pic-Send Plan?
Yes, our Unlimited Pic-Send Plan is $8.95 per month.
- Can I take and send pictures with any cellular phone?
No, you must use either the LG 6000, LG 5450, or Nokia 6225 models.
- How do I send a picture to another phone?
- Go to menu.
- Select camera.
- Select Send Picture Msg.
- Select address and type in recipient cell number (starting with 670, and hit OK).
- Scroll down and select Picture and choose which one to send.
- If you wish to add text, select text and add in what you want to say.
- Send.
- How do I send a picture to a computer via email?
Follow Phone to Phone instructions, but for address, instead of the cell number, type in the recipient's email address.
- How do I send a picture from a computer to a cellphone?
- Compose your email, making sure there is text in the subject box.
- Add the picture as an attachment.
- For the email address, type in the recipients phone number along with @pix.vztxt.com. (Example: 16702871234@pix.vztxt.com)
- Send.
- Can I use the Data Services on my PrePaid cellphone?
Not at this time.
- How will I be billed if I want to use my cellphone as a modem for my laptop?
Data time will be billed just like voice time.
- If I am on PTI's Unlimited Airtime Plan, does that mean Ill have unlimited data use?
Yes
- What phones can I use for PTIs Data Service?
All of our CDMA 1x cellular phones are Web Browsing capable.
