How do I change the phone to GSM mode when Global Roaming?
Please see instructions for the following models IT&E offers:
All Blackberry: Manage Connections/Mobile Network/Network Technology/GSM/UMTS
Nokia 6555: Menu/Settings/Phone/Network Mode/UMTS (When Roaming to Japan & Korea)
Samsung Renown U810: Menu/Settings & Tools/Phone Settings/Network Mode/GSM Mode
Samsung Saga i770: Start/Settings/System/Network Mode/International GSM Mode
For other models please refer to your phones user guide for details.
It is advisable that you change the network mode when you reach your destination. (Do not use Global/GSM Mode on ANY global phone while in CNMI/Guam. You may incur large amount of roaming charges) |
